The love for her that would not fade

I saw and let in love that was not there

Just as she was not really there for me

I saw her retreating

The hurt rising

And then those words

You will find someone else

There is this friend of mine

The hurt got worse

I let her see the smile

The smile without the hurt,

The smile saying that we where just friends
